What is NeXa?

NeXa is IPTV panel software that you run on your own servers. It manages live channels, movies, series, lines, resellers and load balancer servers, and serves streams to players.

Does NeXa include channels, films or other content?

No. NeXa is software only. It does not include, sell or provide any content. You add your own sources, and you are responsible for having the rights to everything you distribute.

Which players are supported?

Players that use the Xtream API (username and password login) and players that load M3U playlists.

Can I move from my current panel?

Yes. The first-run wizard imports a database dump: streams, movies, series, bouquets, packages, EPG sources, lines and resellers. IDs are kept, so existing playlists and player logins keep working. Reseller passwords in formats NeXa cannot verify are marked for a reset.

What happens when a load balancer goes down?

The main panel checks each node every 2 seconds. A node that fails the check gets no new viewers; viewers that were on it reconnect and are sent to another server.

What happens when a source fails?

If a channel has more than one source, NeXa continues from the next working source while viewers stay connected.

How is NeXa licensed?

Per panel installation, with a number of load balancer nodes set in the license. See Pricing.

Does the panel need to reach your license server?

The panel checks its license once a day. Answers are signed, so they cannot be faked. If our server cannot be reached, the panel keeps running for a grace period of several days.

Can resellers work from a phone?

Yes. The panel adapts to small screens.

How are backups protected?

Database backups are encrypted with your own key. Downloads need the super admin password and the link works once. Copies can go to S3-compatible storage and SFTP servers, and a weekly restore test checks that a backup can be read back.

What do I need to install NeXa?

A fresh Ubuntu 22.04 or 24.04 server with root access. The installer sets up Docker. See Install.
